LIFE

I want so much more in life. I'm tired of just "working" I want a career! I want to be successful, be somebody important. I know I'm capable of doing so much more with my life. Should we take a chance and move and see what else the world has to offer out there? Living on an island we are so limited. I believe/know that the mainland has soo much more to offer us. Yes here in Hawaii we call California the "mainland" lol. I'm such an island girl, I LOVE the ocean, and the warm weather. I think the mainland is great, but I probably wouldn't last through the winters :S. Plus I'd miss my dad too much.. haha I think I could go move away for a couple years go to college and then come back!

I really need to get my butt in gear and get back in college. I use the excuse that "I can't afford to go to college right now" and "I have to work full-time to pay my mortgage" but I can try for financial aid and if not get student loans. I'm going to try and do it this semester! I want to make MONEY... then I can live the good life, and we won't be just getting by or working to get by... I know life will be so much better!! I just need to prioritize and get things in order and DO IT!

I'm the biggest procrastinator and that's one of my MAJOR downfalls!! I wait, and wait, and keep putting things off... blah.. But if it must get done I will get it done even IF I have to stay up all night to finish it.

I go through phases where I sit back and look at where I am in life, and what I have. I'm 23 and own a home, engaged, I'm fortunate to have two jobs (one full-time & one part-time), I have a great family & awesome friends. But I kinda wish I would of waited to buy a house until after I finished college. I jumped into purchasing too soon I wasn't even 21 when we purchased our house... I was only 20 when we purchased.. :/ Once we purchased our house we had to work, work, work. Don't get me wrong I love owning our own home! It was always my dream growing up to buy my own house and I must say w/ the help of my fiance my dream became a reality. But it is HARD work... And now I want bigger and better haha go figure right?!? Next I want to build my own house. That way it will have everything I WANT and accommodate all my wants/needs along w/ my fiance's wants/needs.

My wants/needs:
#1 my OWN Walk-in Closet
- Kitchen w/ an island
- Cupboard space (lots)
- laundry room w/ an area for my dog
- computer/office/craft room
- one at least 1 acre

J's wants/needs:
#1 Away from neighbors in a nice neighborhood
- enclosed 2 car garage
- long driveway
- acreage

Buying our first house definitely has taught us a lot! We now know what we want and what to look for.
